Mr. "merida72,"
Do you know if this will be a "discounted/upgrade purchase" for their existing EAP, to previous owners?

Looks good so far, but, I guess "keeping it on the center line" is just for the professionals, huh? :icon_lol: Just Kidding! http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/images/icons/icon10.gif

Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." (http://www.lionheartcreations.com/Spiritual_Journey.html)
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
From,

I imagine David will be along shortly to clarify (and correct me if I'm wrong) but I believe this will most certainly not be available as a discounted purchase for EAP owners. They are two completely different aircraft with numerous external differences, completely different interiors, different sound sets and different flight models.

Chris is correct. This is a brand new product, no way affiliated with the previous EAP product and no discounts apply. :) Simple as that really..

Have to agree about the nose. Can't get a decent angle in the video for a direct comparison, but it looks a little too rounded on top, and also on the bottom where it's supposed to have more of a chiseled edge. Makes it look a bit too bulbous.

In that case, you'll should do a complete HMS (perhaps even with Voice recognition features), releasable weapons, accurate navigational capabilities, and the "all-important feature(s)" of having the flight model's weight/drag characteristics change when those do; not to mention the importance of 4096 VC Textures etc, just to make it worth the extra incentive to purchase a completely new version at the higher prices, you'll no-doubt charge. i.e. I would like it to be loads better than the last version with extra features not just a redo; similar, I would say, to the difference between your premium F-14 to the one you have now but, with lots more in the way of the above mentioned. Just as a customer's request.

If you'll do "most" of what I'm suggesting, I could see my way to doing a triple PRO Version product purchase for that, including the F-16D and perhaps the Vulcan or another; just as customer appreciation and added support to you. With all the great freeware/payware military jets coming out these days, certain "Quality & Feature" standards need to be met for me personally so, please don't be cross with me for these requests, just consider it customer feedback; I do this with all the developers that I purchase from, you should know that by now, right? Good Luck! :salute:

EDIT: (updated surname)
PS: Thanks, Mr. Chris Halpin! :wavey:
We've had this discussion before... so, since you are "with" a business, let keep things professional, formal, and respectful for everyone sake, OK?

James; as an aside could you please refrain from calling me "Mr"? It's nice and informal on here and it's a term I'm not used to hearing from people when used with my forum username or firstname.

That would be Mr Halpin if we're being pedantic, but you have my permission to use Chris.

............. just to make it worth the extra incentive to purchase a completely new version at the higher prices, you'll no-doubt charge.

The Typhoon is not a new version of the EAP (Experimental Aircraft Program), it has clear DNA from many earlier concepts, but is it's own design.

The EAP was a British technology demonstrator and research aircraft, that followed on from the ACA (Agile Combat Aircraft) project by the Panavia Tornado (British, Italian and German) project and BAe P.110 .

P.110 http://www.google.ca/images?um=1&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=MoO&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&q=bae%20p.110%20aircraft&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi

Germany had their EAP equivalent the TKF-90 that was similar in concept. In the end a completely new design between the Eurofighter team members (Britain, Italy, Germany and Spain) came to be and eventually that became the Typhoon.

Of course leveraging on these earlier efforts and the natural evolution of aerodynamic shapes under given criteria (set by the member nations needs) leads to similar looking airframes, but that is all.

Typhoon views which show some of the curvature discussed earlier http://on-target-aviation.com/typhoon.html

I already know that; I was referring to their Model of it and NOT the actual aircraft but, Thank you, I know your heart was in the right place. :wavey:
BTW: Your photobucket links are not public so, I cannot see them and perhaps neither can others?

Yes Paul, one of those would be nice as well, a real brute of an aircraft with a habit of setting fire to it's engine if you didn't watch it!
