Oversized lower front wing, small and high rear wing; takes some getting used to... :kilroy:

The front wings look like they will break right off as soon as you touch them. Going to be a lot of those changed when racing.

During today's testing BMW already used two chassis with the 2009 aerodynamics and the KERS system.. :

Yes, the BMW is not exactly pretty, though it does look a bit better in side view. Even their testdriver Christian Klien called it the ugliest F1 car he had ever seen! :d The BMW is just a temporary solution and not next years' car. Honda tested today with 2009 aerodynamics as well (Except the rear wing) and their car looked slightly better. Williams tested only the '09 rear wing while the rest of the car remained in 2008 spec. Ferrari showed up with a big hump on the right side pod which housed their version of the KERS (Kinetic energy recovery system).

McLaren, Renault, RBR and F1ndia tested several drivers in their '08 models. The 'World Series by Renault' champion, Dutchman Giedo van der Garde. got his chance to try the Renault today.

Rather foolishly I'd hoped we would end up with 'wings' like the simple single plane style fitted to the Williams FW07 and 07B ......... :banghead:

Can't see the photo P; I pressume you wanted to show a classic Brabham like this BT48 or something similar..?
Don't forget that these 'wingcars' had an enormous amount of downforce generated by the sideskirts and the shape of the body.

I remember an accident with a group-C car that sucked a loose metal sewage cover straight up and through the car!

Still a skirted F-1 car Panther, those things were a hoot to watch. Went around track like a slot car with its magnets lowered. Won a lot of Aurora GTX races cheating with sticker tires, drilled-out chassises, and lowered magnets. :d Got banned in '79. Junior Johnson and Chad Knaus have nothing on me!

With such a change in downforce, I bet they will be sliding around like go-karts.

After looking at several scale models I think the maximum aero package should be similar to the 1989 Ferrari.
Almost a complete flat bottom, low nose, two plane rear wing with a Gurney flap, basic GE venturi behind the rear axle line and a very smooth uncluttered body shell.
Very elegant and the design places emphasis on mechanical grip with the aero as a trimming device.
