Great shots, jmig !!!

All I've done lately is wedding photography :isadizzy: ....... 6 hours last night.....got home at 11pm

( got a new Canon 100mm macro lense arriving tomorrow, so get ready for some close-ups ).

Wish I had taken that first picture :salute:. The squirrel shots are nice, too.

These weren't taken with your 18-200 VR II, were they ? If yes, than they were really close...

The answer to both questions is yes. In both cases the animal was less than four feet away.

John, do you realize how lucky you were :eek: ? Oh, my. The closest I have ever been able to get to a bird is like 4 or 5 meters at best.

He landed on a peer post three feet away from me at a seafood restaurant. I bribed him with french fries. :d
