Doesn't quite work that way. Once they get your SS and a few other personal info it is all she wrote.They are not out to get your money but just your ID to open up accounts and if caught leave you holding the bag.

Actually Moe... you are both right.

Some scammers can make use of any identity they get their hands on, it is far more common for the type that relies on your credit score to generate bogus mortgages and loans.
