Still the Dakota flies on! Here's a pic from today's paper of one spraying the Louisiana oilslick. Anyone fancy a repaint?

Anyone fancy a repaint?BTW it's not a original DC-3 .. it's a Basler BT-67 and I dunno this model for FS2004

Was reading somewhere that
a) The oil dispersant they spray is ultimately as harmful as the oil, and
b) There is no containing this spill: money would be better spent cleaning up the beaches in due course, and compensating the fishermen.
Of course that would look as if nobody is actually doing anything...

Hi,

Not pertaining to this forum (mod delete as required) but:
The response of BP (and authorities involved) was nil and still nil .. (too late now)
This is plenty boats from professionals of the oil sector availables (unfortunately on site after the spill you can count them on your hand)
Of course they are not sooo cheaps as the fishermen boats leased by BP (the contract signed by fishermen with BP include a charter of non sue BP in the future)
Seem's they had not a contengency plan (Valdez lesson not learned)
So I conclude BP take the cheap way and make not all to fight the pollution.
