Just more playing around with my new Tammy 17-50.
Not sure what I'm missing on these two shots...I just don't get any feeling from em.
These are in a nearly deserted town that I pass through on the way back to the farm.

Yeah, I had to crop a bit to clean up some clutter.

Great shots Mopar, looks like a portrait of Americana. May I add a couple more shots of bleakness from Danville, VA?

I think the pictures look great. Maybe you just need edit them a little bit, I added some contrast and took out some of the blue. But then again I am not expert.

Love that bridge photo Cazzie!

Mike, I did a quick black and white conversion of your first shot (with Google's free Picasa 3) and I like it. Didn't work on the second shot though.
