This is a must have for me, flying the discuss ridge soaring is a blast, it's really great to see more gliders (powered or otherwise).

Have you tried Jan Moravec's FS9 Vivat? Some gauges must be replaced but I think it's worth the effort to port over.

It's part of a whole bunch you can get direct from Wolfgang Piper's site

http://www.fsglider.de/p_e.htm

plenty of nice gliders there, I recommend the Blanik

Thanks Naki for the heads up.

Nice looking bird. The mesh model is really sharp.

I havent tried any of Wolfgangs aircaft in FSX so might give this a go (and the Blanik since I have flown in one of those)--

Version 1b, May 2010. Sports a high resolution fully operable virtual cockpit, possibly the first ever choke simulation in FS as well as some seemingly familiar instruments with rather unusual modes of operation, plus audible switches, buttons - and side windows. Full checklist in English and German, almost identical to the real plane's. Flight characteristics and aircraft operation closely tuned to the real bird. Usable as procedure simulator within the limits of Flight Simulator.
