The black and white was in incredible condition and very well processed, no fading noted. This was my father's Navy Maintenance Unit at Git-Mo in late 1943, at their party before their deployment to the Pacific. My father is the last swabby on the right facing the photograph kneeling, behind the sailor with the spade.
From the look of things, I would say they were having a pretty good old inebriated time! :ernae:
