Hi chaps I'm a long time user of FS2000-FS2004, but have never got into CFS2, well now things have changed. Can anyone tell me exactly where I can find a good source of 1960s-current Royal Navy ships that are pilotanle in CFS2?

Kind regards in anticipation

JR

First of all Welcome to our Aviation Military Hobby where nothing is destroy nor anyone get kills.

I do not know if you can get 1960 Ships but I do now you probably will be able to get the most ships available of any Sim not dedicated to the Navy!

Welcome! Many ships here, some pilotable, but most are WW2 vintage. There were pilotable ones available in the library, but there were problems with the download data base.

Here are a few:
VN_PT_boat
BSK_HSL
VN_Gato_class_VC
VN_SRobertsA
TR_TypeVII
GC_Flower_Class_CorvetteA
GC_SBoot_S10A

There were also some American civil war ironclads, and sailing vessels by Tango Romeo.

One of the problems with pilotable vessels in CFS2, is they can not be destroyed. But you can blow other things up!

Have fun!:salute:
