Anyone know the fix to this? I did this before and just ended up reinstalling the program. The frustraiting thing is last time I did this I found the fix in the config file and it was easy to ammend to get the planes back and now I have forgotten how I did it and I did not write down the solution either. To many tweaks to remember besides life ordeals.
any help for a quick fix or since I have a hard copy will just reinstall.
Thanks
Jim

Under the "Main" section, you need an addtional SimObjectPaths.x=WhereTrafficXPlanesAre entry.

I think this is what you are looking for:
http://www.justflight.com/faqs.asp?drdProduct=182&supportProductName=Traffic X
Then drop down to the section headed "I have re-built my FSX.cfg and it has caused me to lose my Traffic X aircraft"
Just download and run the small (1.3Mb) tool and everything should be back to normal.
Regards,
Ian.

Thanks IanP, you set me in the right direction. The follwing brought my planes back to life.
SimObjectPaths.6=SimObjects\Trafficx
