C185 "Call of the Wild"

Here is something I have been trying to wrap up.

In the real world it is a 2 bladed B variant and there is a real world image of it as an amphibian.

I have made some corrections to the textures since the 2 images were taken. It is still not 100% accurate but I am fast losing interest in it.

My biggest issue is I have not been able to find the exact font that was used for the "N" number. The wings are artist interpretation since I cannot find an image that show the wings in detail.

I found this example of native Cessnas "N tail number" font. But can't find this font... :(

It almost looks like the USN type of font with a tilt to it. I would give that a try....its much closer.

I just finished updating the wing and fuselage textures.

The font seems to be "FAA font curved".

I found clip art but no font.

The textures are being reviewed to see if I made any major mistakes.

I believe it is finished. The N font is not 100% correct but it it will have to do.

The textures will work on the wheeled and amphibian versions only.

Much to my surprise and dismay the rudder textures do not display correctly on all of the other variants. I thought Carenado had fixed that with the last patch.

I am going to try and get it uploaded to AVSIM and Flightsim.com sometime today.
