With trepidation I wish to inform you all of a special friend of mine who unfortunately has not long to live. She served 9 years active duty U.S. Army as a Chinook pilot as well as has stick time in the beloved P-51D Mustang and has helped in numerous ways throughout the simulation community as well as the aviation and warbird community.

She is my hero.

While I would like to discuss further about her, I will respect her privacy in this matter. I simply ask that if you pray, you ask for her to have strength.

Thank you all,
-Cody

Thoughts and prayers go with you and your friend...

I know that I shall meet my fate
Somewhere among the clouds above;
Those that I fight I do not hate,
Those that I guard I do not love;
My country is Kiltartan Cross,
My countrymen Kiltartan's poor,
No likely end could bring them loss
Or leave them happier than before.
Nor law, nor duty bade me fight,
Nor public men, nor cheering crowds,
A lonely impulse of delight
Drove to this tumult in the clouds;
I balanced all, brought all to mind,
The years to come seemed waste of breath,
A waste of breath the years behind
In balance with this life, this death.

Blessings to you from Tobago

It's always such a tragedy, but nevertheless I'm happy that she lived such a full life and gave so much back to her country and community.

She will be in my prayers, Cody.

I am new here. I have to walk around and see how things are, but I like the place!
