Hello Fellow FSXers,
I have a new rig being delivered tomorrow.http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/images/icons/icon26.gif My current computer is Windows XP SP2 32-bit , my new one will be Windows 7. I would like to transfer over my add-ons, free and bought. Can I do it with a transfer cable, or do I have to re-load everything ? I had my old rig tweaked as much as possible, and it has to much family stuff on it.http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/images/icons/icon8.gif
The new one is all mine, and I cannot wait to see FSX in action the way it should be. Any insight would be welcome.

Thanks, and Happy Flyin!

Everything except your OS system should transfer nicely. Since you are migrating to Win 7 that should not be a problem. I use this at work:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812200492&cm_re=data_transfer_cable-_-12-200-492-_-Product

It's not fast but it is plug and play and works for MAC and PC

You could also just pick up a 4 gb or bigger flash drive and transfer your addons that way. Plus you would get more use from the flash drive then a transfer cable.
