How about this:

I'll start it off by posting a photo of something that starts with A, then the next person posts an original photo of something starting with B, then C, and so on.

"A" is for Apple

Wooooo! How original! I like the idea djscoo! Nice! Should be interesting!

And let us emphasize the "original photo" rule!

That's what I meant by "original photo" rule :) But I could see how it could have been taken as " original as in out of the box original"

Yep, that's the idea.

It doesn't have to be a cut-and-dry title either (a is for apple, b is for boy), you can use abstract things like cold, happiness, etc...

J is for Jessie and Jordan

5100

A pair of brothers we rescued as tiny kittens one cold November day 12 years ago. Unfortunately we lost Jessie (on the left) to leukemia a couple of years ago but Jordan is still going strong and now has another kitty buddy and our English Springer Spaniel pup to play with.

Not to sidetrack the thread, but what kind of project do you have going that you're shopping out of the Digi catalog Cratermaker?
I recognized that little critter as soon as I saw it...we use quite a few of Digi's Ethernet adapters at work (no XBee's though).

Those little XBee modules are a great way to add wireless data to any electronics project. In this case, it is controlling an R/C truck by my desktop PC (where the other Xbee module is connected). Well, that module there hasn't been installed in a truck yet, but is being tested by itself in the field. At this point, lights on/off, speed and steering commands work, and telemetry back to the PC includes a 3 axis accelerometer, battery voltage, and four temperature sensor readings are all working. That there is my test setup. You can see the (out of focus) test servos and battery pack at the top. The black and yellow wire going to the right is the "1-wire" interface to the temperature sensors.

I was wondering if anyone would know what an XBee was. :jump:

To keep it on topic, I read that someone was using these for home-built wireless flash synchs!
