I was going through some of the aircraft folders and I was wondering how hard it is to alter aircraft in terms of speed, handling, firepower etc etc .... is there a tutorial somewhere on how to do this?

You can edit the aircraft's .xdp file. Open it with wordpad so you can modify the lines of script. I know you can change the guns on the planes doing this, but I don't know how to change the speed or handling. Be careful as you may screw up your game doing this.

Now for a little music...:salute:

Speed and handling are covered in the aircraft.cfg and the .air file. Not something I understand much about either, though.

Oh ok .. i was just going to have a little tinker but I didn't want to, say, increase the aircrafts speed only to find that the wings fell off etc etc ... are there maximums or minimums on the settings for each ...
say i wanted to make a spit go at maximum 600 mph and make it turn twice as fast or in half the distance at that speed ... what would be the values ??
