Quote of Alphasim front page on their Islander ...
" Mar 13th

" BN-2 Islander status report ! The very last tidying up of issues reported during testing by a real-life BN-2 pilot is now under way. The finished package will be delivered to Flight One within days."

Can someone please explain what these guys mean by " will be delivered to Flight One within days."...reading some Amazonas Indian sayings and traditions , the "Oriqua" tribe on the upper Amazon Basin, to them "Days" are really time periods of more than 8 months!!!...could it be that the Alphasim guys are from this tribe????? or the neighboring one???:brazil::mix-smi:

Could it be that the Real-life piloto crashed the thing?????

According to some contemporary theologians a Biblical 'day' could mean anything.
After all the Hebrew word for day 'yom' can mean an indefinite period of time.

Therefore I would say, Don't hold your breath! :isadizzy:

I can only hope that at some point Alphasim get's their "Groove" back. They were on a such a good roll for a long time and then things just seemed to slowly go south on them. Those who speak for the company in this forum sometimes get a bit testy when it's suggested that AS is going under, but given the recent history for their releases (or non-releases), that is the conclusion you'd be most likely to reach.

There used to be a local personality from the small TV station here in Sherman, an elderly lady who had a cooking show every morning. It was known around town that while she used to be a great cook, as she got older, things didn't always turn out like they were supposed to. . .folks would would tune in every day. . .just to see if what she was supposed to bake, actually ever came out of the oven, lol.

AlphaSim has become that it seems. A great cook at one time, but now. . . .will it come out of the oven looking like an Islander or will it come out at all?
