The arapaima, pirarucu, or paiche (Arapaima gigas) is a South American tropical freshwater fish. It is a living fossil and one of the largest freshwater fishes in the world. The object of the expedition is to find the "big Mamma", a 600 Kilo Arapaima called "Panchita la gorda". The Expedition leaves Iquitos in Peru flies to the town of "Estrecho" on one of the large affluents of the Amazon River. From here you fly a very slow aircraft very low over the river to in order to see Arapaima schools feeding on the surface--a very unusual sight!!!!.....New Objects including "Arapaimas", Landclass, New Airfields, indian towns on the river banks, great scenery....an expedition you will not forget..Soon in a Sim near you...." Kuakl surum tempa tempa Arapaima stuco pilunga" (Old Pacuá Indian saying" Never, Never swim near an Arapaima").....:salute:
