Hey all,
The Apple Keynote Address came out on April 8th. I didnt know it was available online until an hour ago.
The lecture introduction on the new OS tells about 7 of the over 100 new features of the new OS.
The OS will not effect 'all' perameters (functions) of the older 3G phones, nor 2nd Gen iPod Touches, but will include 'all' OS4 functionalities in the 3Gs and iPod Touch 3rd Gen's.
Some examples of the new functions include;
* Multi-Tasking
* Folders with ability to have over 2,000 Apps on a single iPhone/iPod
* Extreme SDK with over 2,000 API code block introductions
* A new interior built App called iAd which can run ads in HTML5 format 'in' a game, so you do not exit out of the game to see ads by the game producer.
* iBook
Some pretty cool features.
These features will be on iPad in Fall; iPhone/iPod-T in Summer.
If you are into these two items, you may wish to see the Keynote address, here;
http://events.apple.com.edgesuite.net/1004fk8d5gt/event/
Caution; its a while. Perhaps 40 Min's.
