The Crusaders was one of the first jazz groups I was "introduced" to, many years ago. Specifically, their LP, "Those Southern Knights".....

Great jazz.

P.S. What is the trick to posting links to YouTube videos now? I try using the button for "wrapping" around YT links, but when I post it, there's nothing but a blank.

Hey Navy Chief,

you only take the KUHUNbzhPQI part of the URL and wrap the Youtube tag around it.

Press the button, paste your link there between the ][ (closing and opening brackets) then delete everything from http to the equals sign. IF you want to eliminate the extracaricular links, find the & and then delete it and everything to the end of the link.

I know you can do this Pete! LOL!

Yes, a very user friendly jazz group and Larry carlton on guitar. I heard that album with the windmill against the sunrise picture '78?, and have be enjoying them ever since. Checkout Joe sample's CD called "spellbound"

I just downloaded a cd of Joe Sample's called "Sample This", from Legalsounds.com

The cost? A whopping $1.35 for the entire CD, or .09 per song!

I have posted about this site before. It costs $25 to join it, but EVERY penny of that instantly becomes a credit! And at .09 per song, it takes a while to deplete that balance!

Honesly, I have downloaded hundreds of songs from this site, at a fraction of the normal cost. And yes, it is, as the name implies........very legal, and thrifty!!!!

Anyway, the "Sample This" cd is great. The songs are apparently remixes/rearrangements of the original tunes; some of them are Crusader hits. MOST highly recommended! Not only the site, but THIS cd!!

This is so funny. I was just listening to my 'Best of the Crusaders" CD last week.
I grew up on listening to the album "Chain Reaction".
