hi,
I am looking for sites with refs and images for all of the island bases and ports in CFS2 for the period 1930-1945.This is because i am enhancing all of the CFS2 default bases and i would like to get as close as possible with the available material on hand.

Dog,
I like "Pacific Wreks" as it has a lot of photos.

I often use Wikipedia.com for specific locations too.
The Pacific War Airfields Project might be of help:

Maps of the Pacific War:

The US Army and Navy should also have information at their official sites.
Good luck with the project.

One problem you might run into by using such a long time period is that many bases changed over that time-frame and several came "under new management".
Just to use one example, the airfield that became Henderson Field was non-existant in 1939, a tiny Japanese strip in early 1942, a small US airbase in late 1942, and a very large airfield complex by 1944.
I hope you are able to complete your project, but I think you might want to focus on a smaller time period.

time period
yes i have taken this very important point into consideration and for tulagi i do specify the period and in the intro i do state when the US army took over as part of their guadalcanal mop up.Just today i was thinking of doing a US base august 42 onwards with the pt boat base, pby's etc.
