Anybody remember a documentary maybe 10-15 years ago about a group of people driving around the world? Not the Odyssey Expedition one done more recently in Land Rovers.
This one had maybe 4-5 sedans. I only remember two parts. One was when they were going East across Siberia. They enlisted this awesome Russian military truck (Kamaz?) which ended up towing one frozen car across ice and snow until it too just about died from the cold. The other part was a specially made vehicle on treads or worm-screws that was supposed to negotiate ice floes crossing the Bering Straight. I think it failed and sank in the ice. Does anyone have an idea what this story was?
