I am working on a paint template for Steven Myers Davis D-1-W....and doing up a new skin at the same time....anyhoos...doing the texture sheet for around the cockpits and some of the landing gear and wing struts...and I got the hankering for something different than shiny aluminum. I wanted shiny, polished copper around my cockpits and prop spinner and engine cowling and gear/wing struts. Having never done copper before, I thought it would take some trial and error...but luck was smiling on me tonight..nailed it with the first combo I tried.

For those who want to use shiny copper in some of your skins, here are the RGB codes I used for the base color and the alpha channel....note: results may differ depending on your monitor settings, video card settings and the envmap you are using:

Base Color: 166, 124, 82

Alpha Channel Color: 167, 167, 167

Upon further examination....this combination looks more like brass. Still looks amazing on a plane. Need to go formulate copper!
