I was just reading that the Minister of Communication in Haiti has announced that the death toll in Haiti is now at 150,000 bodies, officially. They have still not recovered many bodies still buried in rubble. The surrounding area's around the capital havent been fully counted either.

Man, I cant believe it was that bad. Its going to take quite a while to repair that little country.

One hundred and Fifty thousand dead.

The country i live in could not survive such a massive death toll.
The living could not bury the dead fast enough, and the survivors would often wish they would be among the dead ones.

I do not watch TV - this must be apocalyptic. :kilroy:

The population is listed at 8 Million, so they didn't get wiped out.

On average for all of their country, you line them up, and start counting... every 80th person you pass...dead. doesnt matter who it is.
Those that lost an arm or a leg? You line them up, and take every... 100th? Just cut one off.
Broken Bones? Line them up, and take every 50th ? person and break a bone or two.
Injured? Kids losing Parents?

You are right they can recover in the big picture. But Still... makes me appreciate the ten fingers i can type with, and still only use five of them, both hands combined...
