It's a very nice model, but a bit heavy on the FR's if you are running an old rig. If you can run FSX OK, then you should have no problems.

I also use the CFS2 overhauled model. Sure it's not up to the highest standards to which we have become accustomed, but it is good on framerates, has a VC, and there are a ton of repaints. And it's FREE!

DaveKEN didn't really edit this - some glitch in the software

Not exactly FS9, but FDGv2's Hellcats are still nice, and freeware!

CFS2 default planes were amongst my absolute favorite addons back in my FS9 days. Just like you said, the quality of their 3d models were not as good as the latest addons we are used to, but nevertheless:
- their textures were outstanding (especially the zero)
- their performance was great (very easy on the fps)
- they had clickable VCs
- they were great to fly
- they were free

They do not work at all in FSX and I am REALLY missing them. :banghead:
