View Full Version : Any better sound pack for the Carenado Mooney?

I find the engine sound of the Carenado Mooney a little annoying. It does sound good but in the background there is a contant and repetative GONG.
I mean it really sounds like someone in the distance is ringing a Gong at a very constant rate and I am hoping I could swap out the sound pack even with the default mooney if I have to unless there are other options. The biggest thing is I can tell its a sound track played in a loop and it kills it for me.
Any words of wisdom?
Charles.

go about 1/2 way down, look for the post my Maurice King. He has a download link titles "Mozz Mooney sounds" in his post. It is an improvement.

Fantastic because I am this close > < to getting a repaint for the default and fly it with the glass cockpit and try not to look around too much at the FS2002 interior!

No need to get that drastic with default, unless it's a beaver (airplane).
If the sound files above still don't tickle the ear right,
There is a place referred to in that post I linked that has a German site that has good sounds for different Lycoming engines. It's been said registering ain't too hard. I beg ta differ as I no sprechen zie deutch and I tried with registering with no success. I have heard their files before tho and they are good.
