Yep, welcome! The beer's always cold, the tequila is rotgut, the burritos are explosive, and the rear corner table is reserved for MercAir & Staff.
Just park your aircraft on the main parking ramp outside and we're not responsible for any missing hubcaps. Take those up with MRC Rat if you can find him.

If you've a story of daring do or just plain ol' BS, this is the place to spin your yarn. Or just to sit back, relax an contemplate the world. Just don't pay any attention to those small holes all in the walls, ceiling & floor. And those red-brown spots on the floors aren't blood no matter what the barkeep or the cook says.
And as soon as I can make a run to occupied France, I'll "liberate" some dancing girls for the floor show.

Any chance of transfering some of the old storylines over from the old forums, Willy ? (Yours, Ralf's, mine)
I finally have some time to continue, but it would be nice to keep the whole thing together !

Entering watering hole jokes:
"A wee dram o'whisky and a packet of salt'n'vinegar neeps, please Jimmy!"
- quick method of suicide in a Glasgow pub any Saturday night.
Rimmer (approaching Wild West bar) : "White wine spritzer please."
Lister : "Mah friend's new in town, barman. Whad he means is : a bottle o'gulpin' whisky..."
- another classic episode of Red Dwarf.
I just can't help noticing that if you look at the list of 'Popular forums' Canelo's is there, Historical Wings Society (oh yes), isn't!

I finished that RTW flight just before the server change and have mucking about doing some flight testing on an old Spitfire Mk XIX Photo Recon bird for Virtual Supermarine's Racing Division. Been thinking about slipping off with it for some kind of distance flight. Probably won't be a RTW though as after 3 of them, I'm looking for something new. Thinking about a lap around the Americas with a layover in Antarctica. Not sure where I'll start though.
I'll see about copying your thread over here and Ralf's too if he want's it.

Perhaps I'll post tales of derring don't about the Jasta, or relegate them for the Squads.
So far tonight, the flight was off due to inclement weather and a lack of petrol. I had the unfortunate meeting with a couple of RFC pilots, but saw that there were some MercAir folks lying around (Bullet, etc.) so I thought nothing of it.
The barmaid was rude as could be, and smelt of rotting old cheese, and her barfly companion was worse. This lout had a stained and tattered RFC uniform on, and thought nothing of insulting my flying ability and my plane, which was parked outside, her guns itching for a reason to speak again.
I tossed back my Tom Collins, knocked out the lout with a surprise rabbit punch and left the bar before things got uglier than they already were.
I figured when the moron came to, the Merc boys would have already "lightened" his pockets and made off with his battered old Camel.
Which reminds me - if your boys decide to burn that Camel - I've got a few drops of Benzin that I can spare for the fire - but I get the maps and the serials off her first. :icon_twi:
