When mission building and creating your flight, say four DVII's, can you make your plane a different skin? or do they all have to be the same?
Even in quick missions if you select a custom skin all planes in your flight have the same skin. Can this be changed?
Than in multiplayer how do you choose your skin. or can you? In the multiplayer menu there isnt a section for skin selection

Hmm. I was wondering almost the same question.....almost. Perhaps in P3 when selecting skins in campaign, we can designate one for ourselves? instead of the whole squadron, just to set ourselves apart?

BUT such a pile of work we dropped the idea. Firestorm converted a bunch of personelized repaints i did for individual boy's of 60 squadron members[have done around 70 to date] and made them individual planes in the game. i had a dozen or so in a test mission i built and it looked awsome.
now here is the kicker.
every member had to have every addon aircraft in his aircraft folder and every mission i wrote had to have every plane individually put in the mission. then EVERY flight plan and EVERY waypoint had to be hand edited.
i would still be in the padded cell had i kept that up :costumes:
what we do now is they each have a personelized skin and all the n-17's flown look like their aircraft.
i will do it diffefently in phase three with a standard skin and have the pilots name and an emblem or flag of choice on it.
thats still being thought out as we will have a fully modded phase 3 for our online co-op adventures and it will take us some time to get it fine tuned as well.
