Even though I have been part of the dev team for a rival combat flight sim (Battle of Britain II) for a number of years I have to admit that is a really nice video and well synced to the movie soundtrack.

Wow, that's an excellent bit of virtual filmmaking. Sometimes I think the art of making videos of FS is advancing even faster than FS itself. :applause:

Mods for IL2 1946 have come a long way. I still like A2As BoBII. Funny thing in that video, a/c didn't seem bleed off speed in turns like they should.
I've only heard this, but rumor is, Oleg's BoB-SoW is "supposed" to be out this March. I said rumor... nothing is written in stone tho.

Although BoBII is sold by A2A it is supported and developed by a very dedicated group of freeware enthusiasts. If you get it make sure you patch it up to the latest version (v2.10). It requires a pretty hefty computer to run it these days but if you can run FS9 or FSX you should be OK. It is more CPU dependant than GPU dependant too (i.e. a reasonably fast CPU is required and it loves multi-cores) although 256Mb should be considered the min. of RAM for the GFX card.

The video is IL2 1946 with mods, NOT BoBII.

When you do a remake of Tora-Tora-Tora, please leave out all the talking at the beginning of the movie ;)
