Even if I am a military jet-fanatic, I have to confess the Skyraider is one of the few piston machines that actually fascinate me.
I think it is for the reason that looks "functional" for its mission. Build for a specific purpose and very effective in doing it. Like the A-10.

I've always seen the skyraider as a weird machine, the engine looks as if it is too small for the rest of the fuselage...

Piglet thx for this one. Ive been flying my Raz the last few days and I actually said to Cowboy wouldnt it be cool if someone redid the E or the H model for FSX.

Al Harrison, the guy that originally checked me out as 747-200 Captain flew the "Able Dog" in "Nam". A very tall slim gentleman, he could hardly fold into the A4 that replaced it....

The single engine B-17..... A cool plane!
