2009 finished off on a high note for our little flight sim group. Since September we were able to give away payware products by some of the big naems in our community such as Natural Point, makers of Track IR along with Iris and CaptainSim through our monthly contests. This month will be a brand new X-52 flight control stick and throttle.

As we close out another year in the history books, as well as starting the new millenium into it's early teens, it is time to celebrate that here with the FSX Blue Angels.

This competition will be much more generalized, and really is open to any entries, but should be themed around your own favorite military fighter aircraft, regardless of era or method of power.

The winner for the competition will receive a Saitek X52 Joystick.

This competition will run until 22 January 2010 at midnight. Screenshots are limited to only one per person, but may be changed as many times as desired until the final date by editing posts. All screenshots MUST NOT be edited or cropped. There may be a slight delay in the posting of the "Top 5" finalist polls due to other commitments, but we will get them as soon as possible. Screenshots may be accompanied by text, and descriptions are encouraged if desired.

The "Top 5" poll will run until approximately 29 January 2010 at midnight. Notice of winning will be available immediately on the forums, but a slight delay in receiving information on downloads may be noted. Our hope is to run it until late to encourage as many members as possible to vote.

I feel guilty about entering your competition again but I'm afraid I might have to!

I'll take this oppurtunity to say thanks again for the fantastic prize last month. I havn't got many hours in her yet, due to the fact I have numerous commitments at the moment and simply don't have the time to learn to fly it! How complex is the systems modelling!? I'm very grateful, I don't have the money for payware products so the F-16 is the first I've received in a very long time.

I have however had an awful lot of fun loading up the CAS version with 500 bombs and blitzing round the countryside destroying anything that takes my eye.

I think for this one I'll use one of the few payware aircraft I do own......the Spitfire!

I tried to register over there, but on the terms and conditions page when I clicked 'I agree' it didn't go anywhere. Tried different browsers, still the same. Any ideas?

Wow. The five chosen were a lot better than mine, much more complex to set up.
