Great shots! :applause::applause::applause:
The F/A-18 is really a very nice airplane...

....that two seater is great. I wish the Acceleration single-seater had a choice of loadouts like this one does, instead of only a "clean" variant. THEN we would have a great pair of F-18s to fly. However, from everything I've heard, there are no add-ons to get a choice of loads for the single seater-- is that true?

Wow, great shots - which one of the F-18s is that? Aerial Foundry? I only have Yosukes freeware one which still is great! :d

Nice weekend to all!

That's the Captain Sim X-Load model. The only "problem" with the pack is that it uses the Accel F/A-18A's VC in both the -18D and the F-117. I never fly the F-117, so that doesn't bother me. I love the twin-seat Hornet.

Unfortunately, there is, as you suggest, ColoKent, no loaded single-seat F/A-18 currently available. There is another one in development for FS9, which will supposedly be remodelled to FSX when complete, but I learned a long time ago never to believe something will happen until I actually see it! :d

Are those supposed to be JDAMs under the wings?

They don't look too convincing.....

No. They're just straight slicks. 1000 pounders IIRC without having the sim running.

Reason I asked is the tail unit looks like a JDAM. Normally slick bombs don't have a tail unit a different color than the main body.

I can't really comment on that, but can offer the below. :)

Notice I have air-to-ground ordnance loaded up too - and not just a sissy air-to-air loadout....;)

Hell, any dweeb can pickle an air to air missile and shoot down another bird from 20 miles away! But it takes a real pilot to drop ordance "danger" close!!:d

In a book i've recently read, Marine Air Combat Over Iraq, there was a part where some Iraqi's where gettin ready to demo a bridge, in the face of advancing allies, and an F-18 pilot made a supersonic pass over the base of the bridge where all the activity was. They all scrambled away in a stampede! Shattered all the glass over a couple blocks too. But it sure saved everyone from a dangerous confrontation!:ernae:
