View Full Version : The Air Show from Scratch's House

I was invited to see the Sertoma Air Show by Scratch from a totally different perspective. I am sure you will agree after seeing these pictures.

The main runway in Lafayette, LA (LFT) lines up with Scratch's driveway. I think the performers were using his drive way to line up.

BTW On the first picture. I TOLD Scratch to quit shooting at the low flying airplanes. He kept saying they were ducks. BOOM

He was BBQing and trying to keep the jet fumes off his food. Sometimes when on of the Thunderbirds flew over at tree top level you could smell the Kerosene smell of the JP4/JP5.

Very nice pictures John! Wow! You feel like you can just reach out and touch one of the planes. Great pics John.

Only one problem Scratch really has.... it's the "Oops Factor". You know what I'm getting at. :costumes:
