Hey guys, sorry to plead with you folks again, read here: http://forum.siminsider.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=597&p=2155#p2155

I can pay those back with money when I receive my disability increase backpay for those who would prefer that over paints. Sorry, I know no one else to turn to.

Forever in your debt,
Bob

Dude, what happened? Are you on the rails ok again?

Hate to see a fellow soldier (and probably fellow veteran) getting in difficulties.

Semper Fi Bob:salute: Can't leave a brother hangin. I just found out how stupid our govt. can be at times as I got turned down by the VA because I make too much money. Even though me seeing one of their specialists would be covered almost 100% by my insurance and they would make money off of me the answer was still no. Since they said I make too much I figured I would send you some. Screw 'em:173go1::ernae: Hope everything works out alright.

Same goes here Bob. I gave what I could, but irregardless of the amount, there's no need for paybacks. I echo the sentiments of everyone else who has posted. . .you've given a lot of time and effort to make the planes we fly look great. . .that's payment enough for us. Look forward to having your presence back in the forums as soon as you can. Take Care:salute:

Bob you are the man, I've told you numerous times. You ARE the man.

I wish the best for you. I am unable to make a donation at the time, but once I get back to school and back to work (this coming Tuesday), I'll donate a portion of my first paycheck. Might take a while but better late than never.

When I moved into my place, I was without Internet/Cable for a week. I know the feeling, it is not a good one. Hope my help comes in time.

It's small but it's something. This was not a donation but a payment towards your paints that I use so there is no need for payback. I love your Spitfire paint for the Mite and what you've done to the Kodiak, well that is phenominal stuff there.

Guys, all Bob's files that were hosted on my server, and linked to from Bob's forum, have accidentally been deleted at the weekend.

Bob's folder was part of a larger random selection that were deleted too, I didn't notice because Bob had uploaded the files from his machine and I didn't have this file structure on my machine.

There is nothing I can presently do because I don't have the files, but I've sent Bob an email and asked him (if he still has an internet connection) to upload the files again.

I'm truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused and will update you as soon as I have any further news.

As far as I can tell he has no internet anymore, so I'll be surprised if you get an answer Mason. I've sent him a PM via my forum, where his files are linked to (although still presently broken), in the hope that he could pick it up from a friends machine, but I don't think it's been read.

Bob sometimes needs time to himself and this can take a couple of months, but for a few weeks I've been worried about whether to leave the donate button operating when there is no contact with Bob at all. I don't want to remove this if it could potentially lead to a problem for him, but at the same time I'm uncomfortable with the fact that people are paying money to somebody who is presently AWOL.

I know his circumstances but wheather or not you can retrieve the money is another matter without a secure PC connection somthing which I believe you cannot do from a library or internet cafe , all I was saying is would he be able to access our donations from a comp thats not his own or one that has no record of him being online?

And stop being soft Batman, he's an ex US Marine were all worried about him but he's a man, and a tough one too, yeah he's having hard times but he's not a lost little girl, don't worry he'll be back mate!
