One of the local radio stations does a turkey drop as a tribute to WKRP and as a gimmick to raise food for the needy. They don't actually drop a turkey but they'll take whatever food you can provide. The idea being a turkey drop-off.

Why I didn't buy it, unfortunately. The music was an integral part of WKRP.
I had already gone through that disappointment with "Northern Exposure".
Also a great show, but the music was part of the episodes as well.

Probably my favourite episodes were:
- Mr Carlson's "Foot Powder" (Johnnie's Stash);
- Johnnie convinces Herb that Jennifer is a trans-sexual; and
- The "Phone Police".
