Got a little more tweaking to do. This is for the FDGv2 F4U-1 Corsair, recently released as freeware here at the Outhouse. This -1 is part of the big Corsair pack, not the earlier released versions.

Time frame for the skin should be just right for the Mid Solomon's campaign (summer 1942 to June or so of 1943). Does it represent any specific squadron?

It's going to be really nice to have some done with the early (pre-43) insignia. Fills a really big hole!:salute:

Here's a couple of paintings of Birdcage Corsairs. They are quite possibly from VMF 213.

I believe that the painting on the left portrays an actual incident. The pilot of the Wildcat became an ace in one day over the Solomons.
