I remember (barely) an older flight sim ( 98 or 2000?) that allowed you to easily modify your instrument panels to your hearts content.
Is that available on 09 ?? (I can't seem to find anything like it in the files).

Thanks,
LD

cfg.edit was an earlier version of FSPanel Studio and was free, but I don't know if it's still available. I went ahead and bought FSPanel Studio as it will use a lot more newer gauges than cfg.edit and had a few newer functions as well.

It is easy to modify panels in FS9...just as easy as it was in CFS2/FS2000/FS2002. And there is a handy dandy program out there to allow you to do it visually...FS Panel Studio. This is a payware program....not sure if the free CFGedit will work with FS9 panels or not...will give it a try and give let you know.

The free CfgEdit doesn't seem to be available anymore.
IIRC, it had some problems in displaying *.cab gauges, because it wasn't intended to extract those gauges which came with FS2004.

fs panel also allows manipulation of VC gauges, and for that I R eternally grateful.

FSPanel Studio. Been using it for years and it's one of the best flight sim purchases I ever made. :medals:

Have to agree with all the above. FS Panel Studio is the only way to go!
