A-29B from the Royal Helvefa Airforce. Sometimes you just gotta have fun and start up an air force! Keep those diplomats on their toes!:wavey:

I'm glad I'm not the only one which does this! :d

It makes for some very fun repainting.

Well its not a "new" country but it is a new acquisition. Who knows, maybe when congress tries to cut NASA's budget...:icon_lol:

Must get the paint kit. :applause:

Hey Tim,

How about one from Norkia! Perhaps with the Sylvanna fleet markings. :d

LH, Those are cool, but Insignias should be simple geometric shapes. Even those colorful African markings are made from simple shapes. Now as nose or fin art....

Interesting idea Tim. Makes me think of when I helped create a VA, wonder what fun it would be to create my own country, with scenery and all the virtual infrastructure that goes with it, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Seeing as we are playing the 'what if' game.....

I recently spotted a new aircraft purchased by the Regal Air Force and managed to grab a quick photo as it passed by me!

Rumour has it that other acquisitions have been seen in the paint shop and should be taking to the air in due course.

There could be at least two more yet if the paint lasts!

Could we have some uploading (especially that digital camo from Piglet and that NASA scheme from Simkid)? :jump: Don't make me beg. I have very little dignity as it is.

Heh, me too. I must say it's refreshing to see lots of other people have their own airlines and airforces, I thought I was the only one :)

Don't expect anything fancy though, I still haul butt in standard real-world liveries. ;) :d

My airline is registered at FSAirlines.net, by the way, which is the best damn add-on ever for FS. It just puts a purpose into all those hours spent drinking coffee at FL340. :icon_lol:

Man, you'd need a heavy duty purpose to actually spend hours at FL340, LOL :d

No.4 is now done and this time I went for a WWII camo scheme.

I will get them packed up and uploaded tomorrow with a bit of luck. :jump:

The 'Regal Air Force' files were just uploaded so they should be ready for downloading tomorrow (Saturday) with a bit of luck. Either look in the latest uploads section under the 'Resources' drop down menu above or search for them using my forum user name (there are several more repaints of mine on here too).

Enjoy! :ernae:

Top work guys, Bruce, where did you find Linton?

Bruce Thompson
November 9th, 2008, 03:38
Hi Nick ,

Linton is in the UKSD Military Airfields in Yorkshire Pack, I think it's maiy.zip, it's for FS9 but seems to work in FSX, only a few minor problems.

It also includes, Church Fenton, Dishforth, Topcliffe. It's at Flightsim I just checked and there's an update also.

Living here in Harrogate, these are all local to me.

Thanks Bruce. I work near Ingleton and the Tucano's from Linton fly over every day. My mate's father was also an Instructor at Linton AND I gave their climbing wall a maintenance check a couple of years back!

I had Gary Summons' rendition for FS9 and have always wanted it back for FSX. I'm guessing Gary will cover it again soon, but till then I'll give the package you suggested a try.

Hi Nick, Here's how they look from above.

Another worth trying is Alf's version of Sutton Bank Gliding Club, complete with the White Horse and loads of detail.

Doesn't look too bad, been sheparding any aircraft over the last week?
