Hey Astronomers,

This is a cool App if you are also into the sciences and 'weather' of our Sun. Its called Solar Monitor.

Go here;
http://www.solarmonitor.eu/

Pretty cool App. Mind you, you would need an iPod Touch or iPhone to use this. I wish they had a program for computers that allowed you to use Apps on them...

Here's another called Mars Global, for viewing and identifying the landscapes of Mars. This has several windows of view types for viewing the planet including one in colored topographical format.

I had to get it, lol.. I think its $2.00. You can rotate the planet via your fingertips and zoom in/out.

Located here;

Roger that.

I am really impressed with the Solar App. You can set the graph readout (last one on right) to about 6 different readouts available from electron bombardment, to X-Ray emmisions, etc..

Its like something from Star Trek.. Incredible little App.

The Mars map is extremely well done as well. You can click on the names and it gives their meanings. You can hunt for the landed craft from Earth, etc..

The solar app is available for windows sidebar. I've had it for around 2 years now. The time lapse feature is really cool.

That is the way She was raised ... :applause:

And the only thing Hannah taught her that was off the record was :

"Hold on, I wanna go potty!

what are you doing?

....doing the pee pee dance!" :wiggle:

and the annoying answering machine when the phone rings...

"you have reached the right person at the wrong time ...." :isadizzy:
