I too love the snow, and the more the merrier I say...

Looks as if the puppy had a blast too...LOL

My little Pug loves the snow too..if we have over 3 inches of it you can find him in the back yard by following the set of his tracks, you know, the set with the line in between the tracks ...

Those are nice shots, it looks very pretty with all the snow.
We had snow here in the Texas Panhandle before Christmas and it hasn't melted off so we had a white Christmas.

Great photos Stiz. :applause: Looks at bit like sections of the St. Lawrence River Valley up north, especially on the Canadian side in Ontario.

All the snow we got here 7 days ago is just about gone. It rained Christmas day, but stayed white. Poured all last night and today, and snow has just about disappeared with the temps at 52*s. Piles of snow from plowing are still around but going fast. :d

Ya know, you might be getting a lawsuit from Al Gore for posting those FANTASTICALLY beautiful pictures that are giving those global warming people a bad name.

Did I mention that those are Beautiful pictures yet? Good job and am happy you enjoyed the white stuff. :ernae:

Beautiful pics...thanks for sharing. Here in North Central Ohio, about an hour and a half South of Lake Erie, we have had snow twice....and less than 2 inches both times. I miss the snow!

Mutters (I hope I got his name right) looks like he had a blast playing in the snow.

In the first pic, I think you captured a bell-shaped UFO. If you look just above the horizon, halfway between the evergreen tree and the square road sign with the circle thingie on it.....have there been any reports of strange snow circles?

We had a record snowfall here. 14.1 inches in OKC, the most snow ever on record. Busted all snowfall records and I am sick of shoveling it. For those that do not understand 14 inches being something, in OKC we get a white Christmas 3% of the time and it is usually an inch or two.

Previous record was 8.7 inches.

Most of the roads are still closed, although they opened up I-29 to Sioux Falls, its still not looking great.

Just north of my house on I-29:

Red lines means closed. Pink lines mean sheet of ice. Yellow diamonds means drifts blocking I-90. :kilroy:

Allright!!!:isadizzy: safn1949 (http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/member.php?u=58469), must say: we DID NOT have a lot of snow HERE! I think IŽd emigrate imediately...

1. this year (last week, all gone now)
2. last year (old home), took a lot longer to melt, cause much colder

In my observation snow became even more in recent years, I am still impatiently waiting for global warming...

Yep, my dad lives in Tahlequah and talked to him Xmas morning, snowed in for sure.

I love the snow also (if I don't have to go into it for work!) and on Xmas morning got up right as the sun came up to a wonderful winter wonderland in Texas, something you just don't see here much. If anything it made this Xmas more memorable.

I love it when you guys share pictures of your "home"/"neck of the woods."!

stiz~ I love the picture where you can clearly see a path leading up to the forest. Almost magical with that blanket of snow covering everything! Reminds me of this a specific scene from the movie " Narnia". Awesome pictures! Thanks for sharing with all of us.
