Hi Guys,
Some time back I did a number of textures for the Just Flight Schweizer 300cbi for FS9 with my favorite being this US version. I forgot all about her until this morning and thought this come with a FSX version on the install and so installed and tried out my FS9 textures and hey everything looks as it should. OH one thing I have noticed is that the clouds show through the main rotor you can see what I mean in shots 1 & 2. Can I alter that in any way? and just one other small question I'm not sure in how to make a normal screen shot to a good Thumbnail image for the texture folder can anyone give me info on how to do one. Hi Timm,
Auto thumbnail will generate them for you...

http://simviation.com/fsxutilities1.htm scroll down the page a bit.

The FsX version appears to be a modified version of the Fs9 model and not FsX native and one of the main issues is that 'prop behind the clouds'
problem. Darkening the rotor's alpha channel is your only option.

They came out with a free upgrade to full FSX SP2/Acceleration specs (14 meg). You need the original DVD in your drive and the upgrade exe from their site. Comes with instructions I believe, or at least has them listed on their website. I had uninstalled the copter from fsx until this was created, big performance hit before. Still takes longer than usual for initial load when selected, suspect it's the instruments, but is a great addon now.

Correct. I will also confirm it is fully FSX SP2 now. :wavey: (See picture below)
Can't say if it is DX10 compliant, I gave up on DX10 for FSX.

If you have the download version, you can jump through the hoops with the automated customer service and obtain it as well. Still a great one to learn on.

Hi Guys,
Got my earlier prob sorted, noticed that there are two downloads one for the Schweizer and another for the Flying Club X version I had downloaded the wrong one. Well installed and what a difference everything is much sharper than before. To all thank you. Timm
