Another great artist, (passed away in 2007). Dan Fogelberg was best known for hits like, "Same Old Lang Syne", and "Longer".

I like those songs too, but this one, "The Power of Gold" is a favorite of mine; plus, in this video Dan plays along side Tim Weisberg, an absolute wonderful flautist:

My favorite song of his without question is "Leader of the band," written as a tribute to his father. It was also off of that 1981 album.
