There is a pretty good 727 and 707 freeware. They appear to be from Simviation, but I don't see them at that site anymore. I'm sure somebody here can point to the correct location. They are quite nice, I think. Not sure if they are “FSX Native” or “evil ports”, for those who live and die by that. All I know is that they are pretty good!

I am curious as to what you think of the 707? Was thinking of downloading, but wanted to ask first.

Just a note:

- the 707 and 727 models from Alejandro Rojas are real native FSX aircrafts. They have a quite nice virtual cockpits, bumpmapped textures, self-shadowing etc... They are real FSX.

- the planes from HJG are FS9 planes, and they don't have a virtual cockpit.

- there is another freeware 707 made by... err... Eduardo something.. Guzman or something like that. You'll find it at simviation. The external model looks very good, the virtual cockpit is quite nice as well, but it's a FS9 model (works only in FSX DX9 mode).

Hi Navy Chief
Think the model is pretty good, although an early model with that "undertail" fin, and could live perfectly without a blonde co-pilot...

The panel intended for use with Libardo's model is FS9 only as well, so you have a 707 without a panel. Maybe the one from HJG could be fit into that one.

Maybe the 2D panel, I don't know I never use them.
But the virtual cockpit is OK. This plane is currently in my FSX hangar.
