Beautiful, if it's half as good as your BO-105 it will be awesome! Many thanks, :applause::applause::applause:

Nice work Dirk, though I think the fabric on the wings are a tab bit too transparent, nothing a lightening of the Alpha couldn't cure. Flies like a charm.

i came back here to say something similar. of course i have no clue how to make any changes to it. i was just going to say the transparency was unusual, but interesting, and that it does fly really well. very much like the default one from fs9. thanks for the awesome model :applause:
hopefully some folks out there will make some neat paints to add to it.

Beautifully crafted aeroplane Dirk. Absolute joy to fly!! I know this'll become one of my all-time favourites - up there with Jeanmichel's BleriotXI. :applause:

Some great modelling here, I love the polished aluminium, the clattery rocker gear, animated pilot and the very fine wires. She also flies and handles just like I imagine the Jenny would. She's very nice indeed, thank you Dirk. The only thing I could possibly wish for would be some nice beat-up barnstormer textures and then head for the dusty old West.

Added some elevator trim so I didn't have to hold the stick back all the time...

The Curtiss JN-4 "Jenny" makes the Piper J-3 Cub look like a high performance plane. :icon_lol:

She is a nice, slow, stable flyer, good to train on. But you can't be heavy handed with Jenny. Nice light touch, and nudge where she needs to go for you, don't ask her to climb or go fast. Nice girl. :d

BTW, nice VC too, and that is really the first time, I think, I have seen polished aluminum look right on an aircraft! I love the slightly transparent wings, would be neat to see the fuselage that way too. :jump:

I've seen the service ceiling of a brand new Jenny listed as 6500 ft. Not in this lifetime though, so I cheated with the slew key! I'm really enjoying this unexpected Christmas present.

Sorry to ask the dumb question, but how does it compare to the default FS9 (converted to native FSX) Jenny ?
I'm in love with the default FSX Jenny, it's one of my favorite planes in FSX, so switching to another model of the same plane is not an easy task, emotionnaly speaking :)
How does this one fly ? Is it as under-powered as the default FSX Jenny ?

Hi Daube,

If you love the default Jenny stay with it.
I'm not saying that my Jenny is a must have itīs just an Addon like the other ones.
I just made it for fun so that it works on my maschine with DirectX 10 or 11.

greetings Dirk

And for the other Pilots who are using my Jenny I made a last update for it.
Enjoy it and the Download is still on my Page.

Dirk, I was curious as to why you have the decals, wings, and fuselage colors hard coded into the model? Texture mapping would allow for some wonderfully subtle paint, shadow, and bump effects to be applied. :kilroy:
