J'ville was no better this A.M. I was lucky to see 50 yards in front of me for most of the morning commute. As I look out the windows of the office now, (0814 hours,) fog is still heavy but I can see maybe 85 or 90 yards now.

Not supposed to be cleared until after 10 here, so they say.

It is supposed to get to 80 by 1600 hours this afternoon. This ain't December.

Looks like fun! We had a lot of fog a few weeks back.

This morning we are dealing with ice. I'm glad school is only a few minutes away. :toilet:

Lake Placid was worse. I couldn't see the post Office about 100 yards away.
That makes for interesting flying though .........

That's kind of crazy for Orlando. I grew up there and my parents and brothers still live there.

It's a balmy 83° down here in South Florida. 10-15 mile an hour winds out of the east. Sounds like a fishing day to me :jump:

Yesterday our city was the coldest place on earth at -48ºC and a windchill of -57ºC with about 30 ft of vis in ice fog .Today started out at -43ºC but has now warmed up to a balmy -30ºC .....god forsaken place. Any of you folks want to trade? It not all doom and gloom here as the 5 days of summer are rather nice lol

I don't have a problem with my hair and humidity, I have natural straight hair.... I just wash them and go and they are good for the day..... :engel016:

I am not used to driving in early morning fog, maybe most Floridians are NOT as well... this is the day when we are to be a little extra careful, visibility is about 50 feet in some areas.... whew... :isadizzy:

You are one lucky girl! I wish it would be the case for my hair as well! http://freesmileyface.net/smiley/Nature/stars-003.gif (http://freesmileyface.net)

I don't like driving in fog either- if I had the choice, I would rather drive in snow than fog..http://freesmileyface.net/smiley/Nature/snow-032.gif (http://freesmileyface.net/Free-Nature-Smileys.html)

And I bet you miss it already. I do know you've seen what we've been having here lately. Right now I'd take snow over all this rain we've been having here in Delaware. At least it looks cleaner and isn't so depressing. And if it warms up I'm gonna have to mow the grass again.

What is it with you women? It's always about the hair! :bump:

Me, I'd rather drive in a nice foggy snow covered day ... :icon_lol:

Not only with the hair.... :pop4:

The perfume, the shoes, the outfit, the lipstick, the nail polish, and most of all the VS! :icon_lol:

Be it snowy, foggy, lightning, thunder, tornado, tsunami, hail or rain or shine... we have to take care of ourselves!... :running:

Chacha.... after a hurricane, tornado, or tsunami; I don't think anyone would worry too much how a woman looked, as long as she's still in one piece and breathing. Doesn't sound right I know but you can see what I mean.... I think. ;)

Hurricanes and tornados are the two main reason I wouldn't live in the far south. I've seen both and they are not on my list of things to encounter again. I'd rather see any woman without makeup and her hair done any day over either of those. ;)

That just means you're easy Gary ... and that you've become accustomed to the Warden for going around like that ... I'm sure! :mixedsmi:

(But yeah, I have to agree ... )
