This somewhat smudgy photo-micrograph is found in everyone's home, whether rich or poor, regardless of race, creed, or nationality. It is dust; hair, animal and human, clothing fibers, dead bits of skin, dirt, etc. It is our life.

Wolfe Dual-Head Light Microscope, 20-Watt Halogen light illumination, home made dark-field filter, magnification at 40X, Microscope iris stop set at 1/2 open, Pentax istDL on T-mount with no lens. ISO 400, 1/60-second

C9G, I am almost Buddhist when it comes to other living things except rats and mice, mosquitoes, chiggers, vespids, and brown recluse spiders.

Either domesticate them to eat in only one area of the house (did that in Asheville) or get a gecko, little buggers love cockroaches, but you have to put up with the crunchy sound when they eat them. :bump:

We have Geckos living in our attic. They really keep the spiders down. Before they moved in we had spiders in the patio and garage. Not any more.

I see them on the patio ceiling when I go outside at night. they are pretty good outdoor pets. Every so often one will get in the house but mostly they stay outside and keep down the insect population

They can actually eat insects better than they can sell insurance! :icon_lol:

John, let 'em in the house, they're nifty little pets. But if you have cats, no-no, cats will eat Geckos.

Ya know, I was begining to believe that selling insurance was all geckos did ...

FLA is loaded with the buggers and every now and again one or two manage to get in the house ...

Oddly enough I don't have roaches :applause:

Great Picture Caz ... so ... ummm you have telescopes and microscopes eh? And camera attachments for both?

We don't have any pets. Usually, when one get into the house we find it behind or under furniture all dehydrated.

As for Geckos selling insurance, I like that little guy. He is cute and witty. Unlike the Jimmy the cheerleader and his tailgating accessories.

I LOVE Mute buttons!

How would you know? :bump:

Besides, that is part of his cuteness. You might want to audition for the job when he retires. Who knows, could be a new career.
