I as well love this cozy type of airfield. Just fly in and pitch a tent ( or stay in the fire tower if you let me) and explore for the day. At least that the first thing that entered my mind when I looked at this airport. :applause::applause::applause:, ya got my imagination going.

Did a bit of flying out of the base this evening. On the trip out to Emma Field I flew the "Skycar" in the CG Livery and on the way back I flew the AlphaSim Dauphin in the CG Livery.

That's the Moller Skycar for FSX By Rob Barendregt and Stephen Vernava. Rob is the "Father of true VTOL operation in Flight Sim", (IMHO). His latest enhancement/refinement of the VTOL coding is what drives the Wilco Tilt Rotor.

Although it was built around the original FS9 model, it is fully compatible (not native) with all levels of FSX. It's really a blast to fly and the exterior model is really well done.

Marvin,

I noticed there are much fewer buildings/scenery objects than in your screenshots......

Update: fixed it. My scenery complexity was not high enough. All ok now.

I tried disabling both of them separately and together, and I got a marginally better result. This is odd, as I have practically a pristine FSX installation. Itīs a pity for me as youīve created a really nice little strip.

I also tried reverting waterīs flatten mode to FSX defaults using the tool provided with FSGlobal. FSGīs default flatten mode is "none".
