It sure looks like a Saab Draken to me.

There was one at the Chino Planes of Fame air show one year a few years ago. Not sure how that came to pass, but I was surprised at how tiny it is.

Yep, it's a great fuel-to-noise converter!
For it's time (Mid-fifties!) it was a very advanced design, a delta able to do STOL on the Swedish improvised highway strips, but still capable of Mach 2.
The mirage III is a Mach-2 delta as well, but has double the landing speed!

Yes. I remember seeing footage of them doing annual training on taking off and landing from Swedish highways, many, many years ago. Such a great idea. :mixedsmi:

Two seat Draken
This one is a single seater. The two seater has a periscope centered on the top for the GIB to see forward.
