Finishing off in Part 1 with coloring the background black, we now have all of our base Alpha colors complete saving all markings and details that should be all white.

There is a very simple technique for that gang and follow me please if you will.

First, close the background and all Paint layers save the painted tails and stripes (and any other in your repaints that you wish to white out). This will leave an invisible background and only painted markings and details. Next, go to the bottom right at the Layer Palette and click the arrows on the right for the scroll down and choose Merge Visible.

Once you have merged the layers visible, go to the merged layer and right-click and choose Blending Options. Once the Blending Options window opens, check Color Overlay and click it to open the window. Click on the default red color rectangle in the window and choose pure white (RBG 255) and click OK. Boom, you have just done all your Alpha white in three easy steps. Once done, open your Background and painted Alpha layers and you're done.

Hope this little tutorial helps you reskinners that have found it hard to do the white in the markings. As you can see, it is not hard at all, but PLEASE keep track of what you are doing. I don't, so that's calling the kettle black and that's why you see so many revision in my paints. I'm old and crusty and that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
