I enjoy the free ware version of the Antonov An-224
by Thomas Ruth. A Gmax version with many animated parts, high detail 3D model and highlight reflections however,
the author has aliased a stock 747 panel (he never has seen the real cockpit to make the panel)
and the sound he uses is stock 747. Anyone out there know of the proper soundpack for this big mama?
Bear in mind it has six (6) jet engine hanging from its wings. Also anyone (panel makers)
could design a more realistic AN224 panel? I know Thmas Ruth
is looking for anyone out there that could do this, he has a enclosed
file with a plea for same. :salute:

Sorry I can't help you out. Just saw your name and had to post. My father is a retired AZMC. I still call him a worthless AZ all the time.....lol. Funny thing is, I now have the same exact job at the same exact desk that he did when he retired ( I am a civilian though) . So I guess that makes me kind of a worthless AZ myself!!! (almost)

Or perhaps he just doesn't care about the 2D cockpit.
The virtual cockpit is close enough to the real thing.

The An-124 doesn't, but the An-225 does, if that's what you're thinking of.

Actually the AZ means we know it all from "A" to "Z",
it's "B" thru "Y" that we are still working on....:icon_lol:
