Okay, so it's probably a ridiculous question that doesn't matter, but I have to ask. Is there a way to slow down the rotation of aircraft in the Change Aircraft display window? Some of them, especially most addons, spin so fast they are barely visible, except for a blur. An exaggeration, yes, but you know what I mean.
BTW, does anyone else have a problem loading Brunno's P-47 "Zombie"? Mine seems to lockup the Display window when selected and won't load. I emailed RickN about it, but haven't heard back.
Any suggestions to solve these burning issues would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, smilo

Smilo,

I do not know how to slow the rotation of the aircraft in the display window as it normally operates. However, you can mouse over the window. Move your cursor over the window and click on it. While holding the click, you can rotate the aircraft in 3 D so you can see all facettes of the exterior.

'ello Smilo,

Try this: Once you've selected the aircraft you want move your curser into the box that displays the aircraft and click in it. A black border should appear around the box. Now press the number 5 on the numberpad section of your keyboard. All movement of the aircraft should stop.

Using the "Page Down" key or the "End" key, next to the numberpad, should spin the aircraft nose to tail. "Page Down" will turn the aircraft in one direction, "End" will turn it in the other direction.

Using the "Page Up" key or the "Home" key, next to the numberpad, should roll the aircraft wing over wing. "Page Up" will roll the aircraft in one direction, "Home" will roll it in the other direction.

The longer you hold any of these keys down the faster your aircraft will move in that direction, but it can be halted by pressing the number 5 on the numberpad.

You can also use the numbers around the number 5 to change how the aircraft is viewed within its display window, as long as the window is highlighted with the black boarder. These movements can also be stopped by pressing the number 5 on the numberpad.

Play with it for alittle while, it takes alittle practice to center your aircraft, but once you've got it down you can set your aircraft any way you want to view it.

Hope this works for you Smilo.....let us know if it does or dosen't, cuz it worked for me.

Not sure why I did not get the e-mail, but I have not flown Bruno's P-47 Zombie in a while and will have to try it again to see if there is a problem, or if it is something in the upload.

First, a general thank you for the responses.
RNZAF Gooney, I was aware of the old mouse trick, thanks though.
denisch, a new one for me, very nice. I had fun with that one this morning. I like the figure 8 spin.
RickN, I went back into the CFS/Archives/Downloads and retrieved brP40D.zip and then went to Simviation/CFS/Aircraft/page6 and grabbed BRP47d.zip, went to my CFS Aircraft, deleted my old BRP-47d file and reinstalled each. One at a time and deleting, of course. Both came up the same, Display window lockup and then, STOP "Visual Model could not be displayed" Message when I attempted to Fly anyway. Then I was returned to a black Display screen. Anyway... I understand that this old stuff is probably a drag for you and I really appreciate you taking the time. smilo
